GTA V – How to Make Money Playing GTA Online Heists
Many of you know Los Santos has been subject to numerous car thefts, bank jobs and mass murder for a while now but somehow property prices remain steady despite the rising crime statistics. Grand Theft Auto Online is in my opinion one of the most comprehensive and fulfilling online worlds I’ve had the pleasure to cause chaos in. Heists mode is one mode I’d particularly been looking forward to, promises of a brand new 4-player cooperative experience for GTA Online, giving players the chance to team up to pull off a string of intense multi-part heists, raids and robberies.
Heists has been out since it was released on March 10, 2015, the heists update allows players to plan, prepare and execute multi-tiered Heists across Los Santos and Blaine County through a series of new missions organized by Lester Crest, Ron Jakowski and a new character, known only as Agent 14. These require tight communication and coordination, with players taking on specified roles at each point to accomplish multiple objectives on the way to complete the heists.
For some of you heists are something you can get stuck into straight away but for the newbies online it may seem like a massive slog away.
GTA Online is best played with a group of friends, if you don’t like other people or have no friends you might struggle to get the money and initial help required going through heists.
So we’ve put together a helpful hints and tips guide to help you on your way.
Kill The Bounty
You’ll notice numerous icons on the mini map and some of the dots will be red and look similar to a skull and crossbones. These little red dots on the represent players who have wronged someone, whether another gamer or a NPC and as a result a bounty amount has been placed on them. The value of a bounty is often determined by the wronged player or a random amount on behalf of the NPC. Exterminate these vermin and grab yourself some good profit. If you find yourself playing with a crew and a bounty is set on one of your party, agree to kill them and share the cash.
Robin Hood took money from the rich and gave it to the poor. In this instance you are Robin Hood and also the poor. Take from the rich and keep the proceeds. The rich you can class as the convenience store owners, with everyone online spending their money they have plenty to spare. Hint of the week here is not to shoot the store owner do that and you’ll have more police on your back than you can handle. Rob one store and move onto the next. ATM machines are useful catchment areas for those individuals with plenty of cash. Look for the suits that use the ATM and beat them up to take the money they’ve just taken out. A little more brutal way of earning less but worth it if you happen to be around an ATM.
Fast ‘hot’ Cars
If you didn’t notice, when stealing cars and shifting them to Los Santos Customs, you can actually sell the car for a nice profit. This can be done once every GTA day. I’d recommend stealing cars that look like a half decent ‘real life’ car. The Audi rip off is a good start.
Simeon on occasion sends you a text with a list of cars, pick them up, lose the cops, respray the car and get it delivered to his depot. He gives you cash… easy.
Complete jobs, you’ll get numerous text messages offering you invites to other players lobby’s. Most recently this is to play Setups which are the lead up missions to a heist. However these missions pay handsomely for a relatively small job. Heist missions are the most lucrative of jobs and once you get a group together, all communicating and completing these missions quickly you’ll start raking in the cash. Get your group together, get the missions done and collect the money.
